Réservé aux résidents de l'Ontario, le prix de photographie Aimia | AGO est le plus prestigieux du Canada et compte parmi les programmes de récompenses artistiques et culturelles les plus significatifs au monde. Chaque année, le Prix distribue plus de 85 000 $ CAD à des photographes, incluant une exposition annuelle au Musée des beaux-arts de l'Ontario, une exposition en ligne sur AimiaAGOPhotographyPrize.com, un programme de résidences pour artistes, des événements publics, ainsi qu'un programme national de bourses d'études. |

Offert aux artistes comptabilisant 10 ans et moins de carrière professionnelle. Les trois membres qui composent le jury de la Bourse Plein sud proposent la candidature de trois artistes chacun pour un total de 9 candidatures mises en nomination. Un nouveau jury indépendant est nommé chaque année, composé d’intervenants du milieu de l’art et d’artistes reconnus pour leurs compétences en art actuel et contemporain. Les noms des membres du jury sont connus le jour du dévoilement du lauréat. Les neuf artistes proposés par les membres du jury sont mis en nomination publiquement au printemps de chaque année. De ces neuf nominations, trois finalistes sont retenus par le jury sur la qualité de leur projet d’exposition proposé et de leur parcours artistique. Après délibérations, le lauréat final se mérite la Bourse Plein sud d’un montant de 5 000 $, alors qu’un montant de 500 $ est remis aux deux autres finalistes pour leur participation. |

With the support of the Canadian Art Foundation, is a unique initiative to help nurture and support promising new artists in the early stages of their careers; a time when they need both recognition and financial support. A regional jury panel of distinguished members from the arts community select five paintings from their regions as follows: Eastern (Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, Newfoundland and Labrador), Central (Ontario), Western Canada (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut). The three jury panels then select one national winner and two honourable mentions from the 15 semi-finalists. |

Artists must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Artists must be out of school and practicing professionally for not more than ten years. Artists must use clay as part of their artistic practice, but their practice may be multi-disciplinary. Artists must have participated in at least one exhibition at a recognized gallery, museum or other arts organization. Artists must be nominated by the Nominating Committee. |
