Signs of a Good Dealer

  • Displays knowledge about, and sincere interest in, the art

  • Has a good reputation among others in the art world

  • Works in an established business or has previous experience at an established gallery

  • Is a member of a reputable dealers association

  • Does not use hard-sell techniques

  • Has proper documentation for the work he or she sells

  • Will give a money-back guarantee and will take a piece back if it was accidentally misrepresented
