Remember:

  • Do you have problems registering, registering your work or other problems?  Do not hesitate to contact us.
  • Do your homework before contacting the seller. This will help you to engage in negotiations that can be fruitful for both parties.  Remember: your mutual interest is that there is an agreement and you have all the tools to do that.
  • Avoid unpleasant surprises. As far as possible, negotiations should be concluded in face-to-face. The police departments of several Canadian cities have created secure areas called "Safe Zones" where transactions can take place under the permanent surveillance of cameras. See example for Montreal. Check with your local police department to see if such a service is available in your area. If this service is not available in your area, make sure there is an intermediary who will act as a "trustee" in the transaction.
