The purpose of this calculator is to help you answer the following question: if tomorrow you had to resell the artwork acquired ​at auction or elsewhere and, if possible, recover your investment, what is the sale price ("Hammer Price" in auction) that this artwork will have to achieve so you can get your money back?

  1. Enter the total amount actually disbursed for the acquisition of your artwork (your investment). Represents the sum of the hammer price, plus expenses ("buyer's premium, various taxes, transportation, etc.)
